After an abundance of tornadoes in 2008...2009 was destined to be a huge letdown.  Mother Nature did not disappoint as the action was so paltry I did not even bother heading out to the plains despite setting aside the entire last 2 weeks of May for storm chasing.  The storm chasing pictures I was able to capture were from local chases across southeast Michigan. May 15-31, 2009 - Chase Vacation during last 2 weeks of May 2009 which ended up as a bust due to a strong ridge in place across the plains.

June 8, 2009 - A line of storms tracks through southeast Michigan.

June 14, 2009 - Thunderstorms and a setting sun provide for a photogenic sky.

June 26, 2009 - A clear view of thunderstorms allows for some good time lapse video.
